Its practical 0.5L / 1-pint capacity uses one iSi Eco Series Professional charger, and the double walled, vacuum sealed insulating construction keeps the whipper at your desired temp throughout service without a messy hot water bath or ice bowl. The iSi Thermo Whip is the perfect tool to use when creating whipped cream, milk foams, and fluffy espumas like hollandaise, and even delicate foaming sauces and irresistible mousse and desserts.
The head of the Thermo Whip has a fixed valve, designed to protect against burns from hot liquids charged during preparation. It is easy to clean with the included brush and the adjustable valve cleaning positions. The red silicone gasket is designed for extensive professional use with hot or cold recipe preparations. The Thermo Whip comes complete with three dispensing tips and can also be paired with many of the iSi Accessories including iSi Stainless Steel Decorator Tips and iSi Stainless Steel Injector Tips. Its workhorse construction is perfect for whipping cream in busy shops where whipped cream is being dispensed several times an hour – it dispenses whipped cream perfectly without the need to return to the refrigerator. When not in use, it can be placed into the refrigerator (on it’s side or upright) to cool ingredients when not in use or overnight. Best practices include pre-cooling or pre-warming by rinsing with cold or warm water to assist in maintaining temperature. Never heat the Thermo Whip using flame, stove, oven, or microwave.
Good to Know: The Thermo Whip is designed to maintain the contents’ temperature, so if you need to re-chill the ingredients, you need to allow 2 hours for every hour it was away from the cooling source. Please keep in mind that this is not an electric appliance that maintains a specific temperature; you must use time as the control for proper cold food safety adherence.

Preparing you Thermo Whip
- Pre-cool or pre-warm the bottle by rinsing it in cold or warm water.
- Insert gasket into the head of the appliance.
- Screw the tip onto the valve as far as it will go, do not over tighten.
- Pour the mixture into the bottle. We recommend using our iSi funnel & sieve to strain any solids or seeds. Observe the maximum fill capacity and use an iSi measuring cup to ensure the best possible results.
- Place the head straight on the opening and screw on firmly. Do not over tighten as this will damage the gasket over time.
- Place an authentic iSi Eco Series Charger into the charger holder, making sure that the charger has not been pierced previously and has the narrow neck facing the opening
- Screw the capsule holder containing the charger onto the head until you can hear the contents being fully discharged into the bottle. Do not overtighten. The appliance is now pressurized. Caution: Do not screw in a charger unless the dispensing tip is already attached.
- Vigorously shake at least 6 times. Dispense a small test amount to confirm that contents are whipped enough. If not, shake once again and dispense once again, testing until the desired consistency is achieved.
- Unscrew the charger holder and remove the empty charger for recycling. The soft hissing noise when unscrewing the holder is normal Screw the dust cap onto the threaded area to protect the piercing mechanism from damage.
- To dispense, hold the appliance upside down in a vertical position with the tip facing downward.Do not shake the whipper between dispensing events.
GOOD TO KNOW: Dispense properly with thumb and forefinger around the head with tip facing away from the operator and use three fingers to gently depress lever. Using the forefinger on the lever will tip the bottle from perpendicular and will waste gas, as well as being an uncomfortable handling position for repeated dispensing
! Caution: Do not heat the appliance using flame, oven, cooktop, or microwave.
TIP: in the event that re- heating of the preparation is desired:
- Gently express the gas while holding the whipper upright, cover tip
- Once gas is expressed, open the whipper by unscrewing the head slowly to allow any gas to escape easily.
- Pour out the ingredients and heat contents outside of the whipper
- Pre-heat the whipper by rinsing it with warm water
- Fill the whipper, charge, and dispense following directions above.
GOOD TO KNOW: Some preparations can become too cold and are difficult to dispense. Allow some warming time and the contents will move down into the neck of the bottle for proper dispensing.
